I lost 6 pounds this month. Not great...but I will take it and move on! It is April first and I have 8 weeks until the cruise. I will weigh and post weekly to keep me on track. Exercice was very minimal this month. I will have to turn it up a notch this month. Jeff said "That was the easy 20 to loose!" People at work have asked if I have lost weight, so that is motivating. Slow and steady wins the race RIGHT? We are heading to Hilton Head on Saturday. I am planning on making the exercise a priority.

February results....

I am down another 10 pounds for a total of 20 pounds so far! I can't believe. I am excited. I wish I would could wave a magic wand.. But I am not the fairy God Mother and the horse always turns back into a pumpkin at midnight. I am confident though that the glass slipper will fit.

Speaking of glass, I stepped on a piece in the kitchen a few weeks ago. The cut never healed corretly and it felt like I was still stepping on a piece of glass. I went to the dr.. and saw BUNNY... yes her name was BUNNY. After an x-ray... and foot injection of pain meds, cutting, digging, stitches and tears they (Bunny and Dr. Mason) were able to remove a 4mm piece of glass. The foot injury set me back in my exercise routine. I did actually walk 4 miles the weekend after the initial injury. This could explain why the glass was so deep into the heel of my foot! I hoping to get back to cardio after the stitches are removed.

I am excited.. I am trying to not weigh myself everyday. So here I go for my third month.

'09 Is my year!

I want to thank a friend of mine for helping name my new Blog.... "Looking fine in 09". She is someone who struggles with her weight too. I saw her in the hallway this morning on her way to class. I asked her "What was rocking?" At 7:30 am in a elementary school, not much. Amy laughed and said that she was going to dinner and running with a co-worker after school. She asked if I had lost some more weight and I said "Yes!" She noticed and she noticed last week too. I weighed in today and have lost 10 pounds this month. It is a good start. I have lost 10 pounds... countless times. This next month will be the true test. I am committed to staying on program!
